KNOWLEDGE OF COGNITION

9.1 Knowledge of cognition or metacognitive knowledge is the knowledge or personal theories or beliefs individuals have about and of their own cognition. (HOA.24)
9.2 Knowledge of cognition or metacognitive knowledge includes declarative, procedural and conditional or contextual knowledge. (HOA.25)
9.3 Declarative, procedural and conditional knowledge involve knowledge and processes related to person, task and strategy variables. These variables are influenced by sensitivities. (HOA.26)
9.4 Knowledge of cognition involves self-awareness relying upon self-knowledge and self-appraisal through reflectivity. (HOA.27)
