SELF-KNOWLEDGE

4.1 Self-reflection or self-knowledge is a combination of purposeful reflection and introspection reliant upon consciousness and is integral to metacognition.
4.2 Self-knowledge is the core of metacognition, specifically metacognitive knowledge, and involves knowledge of strategies and processes and develops in and is affected by complex problem solving situations.
